Scholarship Information for 2009

For children of PWP parents who are graduating in 2009 a $500 scholarship is available at the regional area (comprising the six chapters in Southern California) and three $250 scholarships at the national level. (For 2008, no one applied at the regional level and only one scholarship was awarded at the national level although three were available.) If interested, please contact a Chapter #67 Board member for an application.

Southwest Regional Application Deadline: April 1^st, 2009

Applicants must be the child, grandchild, or legally adopted stepchild of a member in good standing of PWP. (The student need not live within Southern California.) Applicants must be graduating seniors from high school and applications will be accepted for trade and vocational schools as well as colleges and universities. If there are no applicants for the year 2009, the scholarship will be delayed until 2010. The winner will be asked to send proof of subsequent college registration prior to the check being issued.

PWP International Application Deadline: March 15, 2009

Applicants must be the child, grandchild, or legally adopted stepchild of a member in good standing of PWP. Applicants must be graduating seniors from high school or full-time college students up to 25 years old. Applications will be accepted for trade and vocational schools as well as colleges and universities. Graduate students are ineligible at this time.
